1. Places to Go:

a) Halla Mountain. 한라산
Halla Mountain, also known as Hallasan, is a volcanic mountain located on Jeju Island in South Korea. It is the highest peak on the island, reaching an elevation of approximately 1,950 meters (about 6,398 feet) above sea level. Hallasan is not only the symbol of Jeju Island but also an important natural heritage site, making it a popular destination for tourists and hikers.
Hallasan offers several hiking trails, but the two most prominent ones are the "Seongpanak Trail" on the eastern side of the mountain and the "Gwaneumsa Trail" on the western side. Hikers are drawn to these trails for their stunning scenery, and reaching the summit of Hallasan provides the opportunity to witness a breathtaking sunrise.
Moreover, Hallasan holds both natural and historical significance. Near the summit, you can find volcanic caves known as "Oreum," as well as historical relics associated with Jeju's folklore and mythology. Designated as a national park, Hallasan offers visitors a chance to enjoy the island's natural beauty and engage in mountain hiking activities.
b) Aewol Coastal Road. 애월해안도로
Jeju Island's Aewol Coastal Road is a graphic and scenic route that runs along the islet's northwest bank. This littoral road is notorious for its stunning littoral geographies, demitasse-clear waters, and rugged escarpments. Traveling along Aewol Coastal Road offers callers stirring views of the ocean and the girding natural beauty of Jeju Island.
The road is lined with fascinating cafes, seafood caffs , and exchange shops, making it a popular destination for both locals and excursionists. numerous callers choose to rent a auto or take a tardy bike lift along this route to completely appreciate the scenic beauty and stop at colorful points of interest.
One of the notable features along Aewol Coastal Road is the Hyeopjae and Geumneung strands, known for their pristine white beach and turquoise waters. These strands are great spots to relax, swim, or simply take in the littoral air.
Aewol Coastal Road is also known for its striking evenings, making it a fantastic place to end your day on Jeju Island. Whether you are looking for a romantic drive, a peaceful perambulation, or a memorable dining experience, Aewol Coastal Road offers a pleasurable occasion to immerse yourself in the natural beauty and culture of Jeju Island's bank.
c) Seokguram 석굴암
Jeju Island's Seokguram Grotto is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a significant artistic and literal treasure in South Korea. It's a Buddhist delve tabernacle located on the eastern part of the islet, near the peak of Mount Toham. Seokguram Grotto was constructed during the 8th century in the Silla Kingdom, one of Korea's ancient dynasties.
The cavern is famed for its remarkable gravestone- sculpted Buddha statue and intricate architectural design. The main chamber of the delve contains a seated Buddha statue, which is considered a masterpiece of Korean Buddhist art. The statue is seated on a lotus pedestal and is girdled by colorful Bodhisattvas, votaries, and heavenly beings, all sculpted into the determinedness walls of the delve .
Callers must follow a path that leads up the mountain to reach Seokguram Grotto, and the trip offers panoramic views of the girding natural beauty. The cavern isn't only a testament to the skill and art of the ancient Silla tradesmen but also a place of spiritual significance for Buddhists and a popular sightseer magnet.
Due to its literal and artistic significance, Seokguram Grotto is precisely saved and defended, and callers are needed to follow strict guidelines to maintain its integrity. It remains a point of reverence and seductiveness for those interested in Korean history, culture, and Buddhism.

2. Where to stay
Jeju can be little bit expensive to explore. So if you're interested in getting along with Korean people, I would recomand you to stay in a guest house. These days, it's very famouse among Koreans to stay there. If you pay some money(not a lot), you can have a party with the people staying that night. Of course, you can choose the room. If you don't mind staying with bunch of people like backpackers, you can stay there with low price. In Korea, hygiene is highly important, so the place will be clean.
